Major Infrastructure Project to Benefit Local Communities

Residents of Snowy Monaro and Snowy Valleys LGAs Encouraged to Apply

Future Generation Joint Venture (FGJV), the principal contractor for Snowy Hydro's Snowy 20 project, is calling on residents of the Snowy Monaro and Snowy Valleys Local Government Areas (LGAs) to explore employment opportunities related to the major infrastructure project.

Snowy 20, an expansion of the existing Snowy Scheme, is expected to create significant employment opportunities in the region. Interested individuals can find further details and apply for available positions through SEEK, where 85 Snowy Hydro jobs and 39 Snowy Hydro 20 jobs are currently listed.

The Hunter Power Project, part of the Snowy 20 project, aims to enhance the capacity of the Snowy Scheme and support Australia's transition to renewable energy. By leveraging the existing hydro infrastructure, the project is poised to generate significant employment opportunities in the region while contributing to the nation's clean energy goals.
