Superstars Doncic And Irving Lead Charge
Mavs on the Brink of Final Four
The Dallas Mavericks have taken a commanding 3-0 lead in their Western Conference Finals series against the Minnesota Timberwolves with a 116-107 victory on Friday night. The Mavericks were led by their two superstars, Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, who combined for 63 points.
Doncic finished with 33 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 assists, while Irving added 30 points and 6 assists. The Mavericks also got a strong performance from Dorian Finney-Smith, who had 18 points and 10 rebounds.
The Timberwolves were led by Anthony Edwards, who had 28 points and 7 rebounds. Karl-Anthony Towns added 25 points and 10 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Mavericks' high-powered offense.
The Mavericks will now have a chance to close out the series in Game 4 on Sunday night. If they win, they will advance to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2011.
The Timberwolves, meanwhile, will need to win Game 4 to avoid elimination. They will also need to find a way to slow down Doncic and Irving, who have been unstoppable in the series thus far.
